In the world of beauty, there are plenty of products and routines that work...and plenty that don't. Over the years as a beauty and wellness editor, I've tried dozens of beauty hacks, so I decided to compile a list of the ones that actually work.

Whether you want a professional facial at home for only $27, a way to support your skin from the inside, or something that's both good for your skin and extremely comfortable, you'll find it below. But trust me, the top hack is a literal lifesaver for anyone who's starting to grimace when they look in the mirror.

Hanacure All-In-One Facial

I've tried every major beauty product, and this is the only one worth the hype. Unlike most products, this does much more than hydrate. Hanacure's All-In-One Facial uses something called Octolift to actually tighten the skin.

I know that sounds crazy for something that you can do at home in 20 minutes, but I couldn't believe how lifted and firm my skin looked after trying it. So, I tried to figure out what made Hanacure's award-winning formula so much better than every alternative I've tried.

It's packed full of clinically-studied ingredients like beta-glucan to sooth the skin, copper tripeptide-1 to visibly lift and tighten, acetyl hexapeptide-8 to fade the appearance of wrinkles, and nicotinoyl dipeptide-22 for that special glow.

Look, I'm not completely sure how these ingredients work, but I know they do. This hack is literally as good as a $250 professional treatment, but at home in 20 minutes for like $27.

Omnilux Contour Face Red Light Therapy Mask

This interesting product uses 132 medical-grade LED bulbs to shine red, near-infrared, light that's designed to stimulate collagen and reduce fine lines. Let's just say, I was skeptical. I thought there was no way lights were going to help my skin.

I was wrong, mostly. After using it for 10 minutes, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks, I could actually see the difference. My skin looked plump and smooth, and wrinkles were starting to fade.

However, there are some major issues I have with this product, compared to Hanacure's All-In-One-Facial. First, it can take weeks or even months to notice a major difference. Second, I spent $395 on this Omnilux Contour Face. While it should work for years, that's still a high upfront cost. Finally, it's not as comfortable as I'd like. It's only 10 minutes, but it's bright and the straps slip around. Not the best time in the world. Still, this product is pretty great.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

While everyone else is rubbing collagen lotions on their face, I take mine orally with Vital Proteins. That's because the molecules are too large to penetrate your skin, but help rebuild texture, structure, and tone from the inside. It also has to be hydrolyzed collagen, which means it's broken down into smaller, more easily digestible parts.

It will take some time to get results, but it can improve elasticity and skin hydration, helping to smooth fine lines. But that's not it. It's also great for your hair and nails, making it a great addition to your beauty routine. Look, I take hydrolyzed collagen every day, but I still use my regular beauty products too. I think that's the best way to look young as you age.

Blissy Silk Pillowcase

This is another one I was skeptical about before I tried. I knew it would be comfortable, which is already good for getting beauty sleep. But could it really prevent sleep lines, keep your skin hydrated, reduce irritation, and improve your skin? Apparently.

Sure, the change was extremely subtle, but still 100% worth it. That's because Blissy is an award-winning pillowcase that's also designed to reduce frizz and breakage on your hair. The hypoallergenic and cooling effects is wonderful.

Yeah, this isn't going to completely transform your skin like Hanacure's All-In-One Facial can, but it's definitely beneficial. I know over $100 is a lot to spend on a pillowcase, but they seem to last a while too.

TheraFace Depuffing Wand

With both hot and cold settings, this TheraFace depuffing wand is designed to reduce under-eye puffiness and dark circles. The hot setting can also improve circulation, which can help your complexion. And it works pretty well, at least for the morning puffiness and redness I used to wake up with.

It's not going to lift your jawline, drastically reduce tor fight against deep fine lines, but it's definitely an effective hack. This product is $129, which seems worth it to me. You simply turn on the cold or hot setting and then roll from the center of your face outward. The great thing with this is that it works almost instantly, even if the effects don't last incredibly long. So yeah, I definiteliy recommend this product to.

Choose a Beauty Hack That Actually Works

All five of these beauty hacks work. Some work better than others, but I think any of them make a great addition to your beauty routine. I recommend oral collagen to anybody and think red light therapy is worth a try.

However, if you just pick one of these hacks to try, make it Hanacure All-In-One Facial. It completely transformed my skin. Plus, using it feels like a professional facial, except it's from the comfort of your home.
