If you’re like me, you’ve experienced more than just bloating, gas, and never-ending tummy troubles. You’ve also experienced the frustration of trying countless “solutions” that never seem to work.
Peppermint tea? Nope. Drug-store probiotics? Nothing. Colostrum? Not even. Heck, I even changed my diet (very reluctantly). Still felt bloated, heavy, and uncomfortable.
So, I decided to test the most popular and best-reviewed gut solutions on the market. The best one literally shrunk my bloated balloon belly, but you can’t go wrong with any of the products I ranked.

As you probably know, there are hundreds of products out there that promise to relieve bloating, make you more regular, and de-puff your body. For me, most of them didn’t work. So I compared each product using four criteria:
Scores moved up when a product made a noticeable difference without becoming a hassle, and fell when the results, formulation, or value didn’t justify the price.

This is my favorite option because it got rid of my bloating, made me regular, and gave me my confidence back. However, it can cause some initial discomfort before it starts to help.
I was skeptical of this product at first. I mean, a prebiotic originally discovered in human milk? Turns out it doesn’t contain human milk at all, just a bioactive ingredient developed in partnership with the University of Chicago that works much better than anything else I tried.
Unlike colostrum and other probiotics, this formula is tailored specifically to the human body, selectively growing Bifidobacteria that produce postbiotics that actually seal the gut barrier and reduce inflammation.
Sounds great, but does it work?
After 30 days, I can honestly say this made a huge difference in the way I felt. No more bloating. Regular poops. Way more energy. Heck, I could even eat my problem foods without after-meal regret. And it’s not just me… 82% of users experienced better gut health after 12 weeks.
Even though kēpos only uses two active ingredients, it does more than probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics, and colostrum combined. There’s no need for anything else, making it a truly all-in-one gut solution.

The main downside is that you might feel a little worse for the first week. I had even more bloating and gas. Don’t give up, though; that means it’s working.
I also wish there were other flavors to choose from. I like that it tastes like cotton candy, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Thorne Complete Biotic has a comprehensive, research-backed formula packed into convenient single-serve packs. The issue is that they use pretty generic probiotics that you can find for much cheaper elsewhere.
The stick packs are a nice touch. You can throw them into your bag and you don't even need water to go with them. Just tear and pour on your tongue. It's also reassuring to know that there’s a money-back guarantee behind it.
Strains like Bacillus subtilis and Bifidobacterium longum are backed by actual research, and since they use a combination of prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics, you’ll probably experience some bloating relief.

While the flavor is good, they only have one option called Frosted Orange. If you’re not an orange fan, you’re out of luck. Also, they have a 25% restocking fee, so their money-back guarantee is really only for a 75% refund.
But the main issue I have with this option is that it’s overpriced. Yes, they use good strains, but you can find the exact strains cheaper elsewhere. Basically, you pay a premium price for the convenience and name.

Seed is an excellent product that uses a capsule-in-capsule to help protect bacteria until they reach your gut, but they use strains that aren’t really designed for your human microbiome.
Seed is a popular product for a reason. They include 24 different probiotic strains plus prebiotics in a special capsule designed to protect the bacteria until they get to your gut.
They also have clinical results that show that DS-01 is capable of easing bloating and improving regularity. Unlike many cheaper products, I actually had some decent results from this product after the first 14 days, like less discomfort after meals.

Unfortunately, for me and many others, Seed DS-01 is a little too strong. They pack in tons of probiotics to help, but it’s a tummy overload. I understand most brands can cause some discomfort as they start to work, but DS-01 made me super bloated, gassy, and uncomfortable for weeks.
It didn’t help that I had to swallow two large capsules every day, either, especially when I already felt sluggish and full.

AG1 is a greens powder that combines vitamins, minerals, superfoods, prebiotics, and probiotics in one daily scoop. It’s a strong all-in-one wellness product, but its broader formula and higher price made it less compelling than the more targeted gut supplements I ranked above it.
AG1 is a fantastic product overall. It’s basically a multivitamin combined with prebiotics and probiotics, and its full formula has been studied in controlled trials. I liked getting greens, vitamins, and gut support in one scoop, and it improved my gut health when I tried it.
They also have a great 90-day money-back guarantee so you can try it out and see if it works for you before losing your money.

The main issue for me is focus. AG1 is designed as a broad daily nutrition supplement, so if your main goal is gut support, you’re paying for vitamins, minerals, greens, and other ingredients alongside its prebiotics and probiotics.
At $79 per month, or about $2.63 per serving, I couldn’t justify the extras when more targeted products on this list did more for my digestion. AG1 is a strong all-in-one; it just wasn’t the strongest gut solution for me.

ARMRA is a good product that’s easy to take. However, colostrum is tailored for cows, not humans, and they don’t have a money-back guarantee.
While this isn’t my favorite product, there is quite a bit to like about it. It has clinical research showing its effectiveness and, for a premium online product, the price per day seems fair.
Also, it tastes pretty good and is easy to mix. No pinching my nose just to chug it down with this one. I especially like the peach persimmon flavor!

The main downside of this product is that its main ingredient is colostrum, which is derived from cows. Basically, it contains nutrients that support newborn calves. Because of that, there’s not a ton of scientific research that shows it works for people’s gut issues.
From my personal experience, the results I got from ARMRA were subtle, at best. Plus, if you open the jar to try it, then you can’t return it or get your money back.
